CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

VMS

Vision Medical Suite (VMS) is a registered non-profit company offering free medical, dental and psychology services to beneficiaries that are in need like children that have been orphaned or people that come from abusive environments and have no family to support and care for them.

The VMS vision is A South Africa where access to proper, high quality care is determined by the needs and not financial ability. A South Africa where all in medical need, are treated with passion, dignity and compassion. The strategic goal of the organisation is to create the best rounded experience for each patient in order to optimize their health.

VMS is fortunate that over the years we have amassed a pool of approximately 200 healthcare practitioners who volunteer their time and skills. As all these practitioners are employed either in the government or private sector, the assistance provided to VMS is voluntary and pro bono.

Ikamva Labantu

Ikamva Labantu works throughout Cape Town’s township communities towards a more just society where human rights can be fully actualized. Ikamva’s work focuses on early childhood development, the wellbeing of older persons and afterschool initiatives that keep children safe and off the streets.

The organization's vision is to create communities in Cape Town where people are equipped with both the tools and resources to thrive. In order to accomplish this, their mission is to engage stakeholders like active community leaders.

Ladles of Love

Ladles of Love is a non-profit organization in the feeding sector who have grown exponentially in reaction to the economic fallout of Covid-19 pandemic.

From feeding the many homeless people out of their Hope Exchange Roeland Street soup kitchen, the operation has expanded their feeding scheme to provide food to tens of thousands of destitute people, via a network of fellow organizations.

From the beginning of lockdown Ladles of Love has provided bulk food for over 8 000 000 meals. Founder, Danny Diliberto says that it is only through the currency of kindness that he has been able achieve these staggering results.

Understanding the need for food security and sovereignty Ladles of Love developed a sustainability program, enabling and empowering community organizations and social entrepreneurs to nurture, grow, cook or produce food.

By encouraging social investment through extensive global marketing campaigns, Ladles of Love are determined to provide training and capital equipment to social enterprises all over the country. They aim is to provide dignity to people through the ability to earn and provide food for their own families.

Hunger will remain a challenge for years to come and it is only through fundraising that the Organization can continue to procure food at reduced prices for hundreds of soup kitchens to serve people in communities need daily.

SAME Foundation

The S.A Medical & Education Foundation is a South African NGO that undertakes high impact community development projects. The Foundation boasts a great track-record of completing over 100 projects in the last 17 years, positively influencing millions of South Africans. Our private partnerships with companies and individuals allow us to create the change that we do. We successfully complete our projects thanks to the generous support of businesses and individuals who understand the vital importance of the work that we do.

Our sole aim is to improve healthcare and educational facilities in poverty-stricken communities, where there is no short/medium term government budget for improvements. This means that, without intervention by you and the SAME Foundation, these communities won’t be able to receive the healthcare and education that they deserve.

We supply our schools, hospitals & clinics with the equipment and infrastructure they desperately need to service the large communities using the facilities. We also facilitate teacher and doctor training to improve skills. We are committed to helping our communities and firmly believe that wealth should not be a prerequisite for access to quality education and healthcare. It is our mission to allow children in extremely poor communities the opportunity to reach their full potential.
